At David Smith Productions, we often work on all phases of a project from creation to delivery. This "one-stop shopping" will make your job easier, and plays to our many strengths. This might include all of the key organizational stages in the project’s early development, including conceptualization, research, and scripting, all the way through location production, post-production and duplication of the program we’ve just produced for video and web applications.

Since 1980, we have been working with our clients to create programming around a variety of topics. Our credits include CD/ROM creation for curriculum developers, training videos for corporations, multi-part educational video series around elementary mathematics and science for publishers, Public Service Announcements for non-profit groups, independent documentaries, public information pieces for medical concerns, and live concerts for record labels.

Typically, we work closely with a client to help conceptualize the ideas behind the project, and then to outline how the program will take shape, articulating and explaining all of the elements involved. We then translate all of this information into an easy-to-understand production budget which meets the needs of the program within the constraints of the budget. From there, depending on the nature of the project, we might research the topic, write the script, create a production schedule, design a video set, provide all technical crew to shoot the production, and then complete all editing elements to deliver that program – on time and on budget!
